Pastel on paper 18" X 24"

Bani Begum garden, located on the outskirts of Aurangabad, is known for its beautiful surroundings and comforting ambience. I have painted it from a beautiful photograph taken by my friend Devajyoti. I really like this composition. As you can see, the banner for my blog is it's pen and ink drawing.

Juicy Duo

Pastel on paper 5" X 7"

I have been working on a large painting for some upcoming exhibitions. Took me 3 weeks to complete it. Now that it's done, what a relief I feel !! :) I will be posting it soon. But now starting with this, I am going to paint a few small ones just for thrill.

Melon and Cherries in Oil

Oil on panel 5" X 7"

Oil on panel 5" X 7"

I have been trying to do more oil paintings these days. It's interesting to redo my pastel paintings in oil, helps me understand both mediums better. I just hope my blog doesn't look boring with all the duplicates in it!! :)

Nauset Marsh Trail

Pastel on paper 8" X 10"
We recently went to Cape Cod on a family vacation. The walk around the Nauset Marsh Trail in Eastham was definitely the high point of my trip. I took plenty of pictures, and am hoping to make tons of paintings to help preserve my memory. This is the first one, I have decided to paint in the sequence the trail unravelled around the mash. Hope you all will follow the trail with me. :)
