I have been trying to do more oil paintings these days. It's interesting to redo my pastel paintings in oil, helps me understand both mediums better. I just hope my blog doesn't look boring with all the duplicates in it!! :)



Nauset Marsh Trail

We recently went to Cape Cod on a family vacation. The walk around the Nauset Marsh Trail in Eastham was definitely the high point of my trip. I took plenty of pictures, and am hoping to make tons of paintings to help preserve my memory. This is the first one, I have decided to paint in the sequence the trail unravelled around the mash. Hope you all will follow the trail with me. :)

I have been thnking of painting with oils for a while, finally picked up my brushes. I thought it would be best to redo some of my pastel paintings with oils to compare notes, and understand both the mediums better. It was surely a lot of fun, hope to do many more!
